‘Tis the Season

The opportunity for some free cement garden border blocks made me put sick Kate in the car yesterday to retrieve them.   There were enough to edge the entire strawberry patch.  SO, after shlepping them home, I tended to the strawberries.  Kate got the first two of the season.  There are many more green and growing.  Soon I’ll post a picture of the newly edged patch.   Still gotta dig to set the stones…

Proverbs 20:4

NIV:

A sluggard does not plow in season;
so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing.

The Message:

A farmer too lazy to plant in the spring

has nothing to harvest in the fall.
