I am a full-time Zoo Keeper (translate as stay-at-home mom of 3). I love anything creative as an escape from the Zoo including pastel drawing, sewing, writing, and photography. I love to spend time with friends, gardening, and walking my dog Shadow.
This cite is my version of a scrapbook, journal, blog, photo album… you get the idea. I plan to add thoughts and pics daily…but that may be a lofty goal. I tend to have those! In any case, I hope to look back over the year and see my life changing, goals achieved, friends made and kept, and maybe even have a few laughs along the way.

Hey, you’re an inspiration. I hope you know that you’re the reason that I’m painting and drawing again. Maybe, one day, I’ll put all my interests together and actually come up with a good project. I just tweeted that I’m looking forward to my 60′s and to expect a book, watercolor paintings and at least one new C.D. out of me. With God’s help on the health front, I just might make it. I hope to relax somewhere in there and truly enjoy God’s creation and love. I just saw http://www.crazylove.com, the “Stop and think” video. It’s great! Right now I’m trying to sort, organize and down-size my book addiction. Georgie and Riff think I’ve lost my mind making such a mess. I have books everywhere! I know you’re probably going crazy with the kids home for 2 weeks but what an awesome vacation and catch-up time for me. I’m truly lovin’ it.
